Kids Teach Tech Empowers youth to create and teach classes in Technology, Robotics, Coding, and Artificial Intelligence for underserved youth, turning students into teachers and leaders helping to lift their communities and increase future opportunities. We have 200+ youth teachers who have taught 8000+ students, in Oakland, the Bay Area, California, across the nation, and internationally. No prior coding experience is required to join Kids Teach Tech as key coding concepts will be taught to those who need the help. There are also many different non-coding positions available in KTT that focus more on the teaching approach and social aspect of interacting with students. Members of the club who are interested in coding will specifically focus on brainstorming and creating classes that interest them in the field of technology to share with others. Everyone is welcome to assist in our many volunteering opportunities that could range from events like our Hispanic Heritage Celebration class to our week-long annual STEM Camp at UC Berkeley Engineering. Furthermore, what is unique about KTT is its approach to teaching as members of our club will learn how to effectively engage their students in learning technology and teach them very advanced concepts in a more one-on-one manner.
